Dell Mini 1012 is Dells first netbook that uses the Intel Pine Trail Atom N450 which is the latest. Dell Mini 1012 is an upgraded version and repair of Dell Mini 10v before. Some people who have used the Dell Mini 10v, said that Dell Mini 10v is quite impressive.

What about the Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 Netbook? Here are some things you like and dislike about the Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 Netbook:

Things are preferred:

  1. - Easy to upgrade memory
  2. - 6 cell battery (last about 8 hours)
  3. - Indicators for hard disk activity
  4. - The plug from the back
Things are less preferred:

  1. - 2 color top and bottom, even 3 colors, if the outside is not white
  2. - The bottom looks like a cheapo
  3. - The back of the LCD beyond. Located behind the LCD is not like the other (see picture)
  4. - When the unit is closed, the rear is not sealed by the LCD
  5. - There is no eject button for flash cards. Cards are still prominent
  6. - VGA port, HDMI port instead
  7. - Webcam is too visible
Dell Mini 1012 battery can last up to 8 hours of normal use.
